LOCAL SECTIONS

LOCAL SECTIONS OF LES AMIS DE LA TERRE

First national movement for the defense of the environment and sustainable development, Friends of the Earth Togo invests itself daily to improve the living conditions of people, both in rural and urban areas. The Association has achieved and contributed through the networks to which it belongs, to the realization of many projects of environmental protection, the fight against poverty and sustainable development.

In order to get closer to the people, the Association has created seventeen (17) local sections spread over the entire national territory.

The efforts of the Association to achieve its objectives are often outweighed by the structural weakness and lack of initiatives of the local sections. Most locals wait only for volunteer work camps that the Association organizes each summer to participate in its activities. The efforts of the Association to achieve its objectives are often outweighed by the structural weakness and lack of initiatives of the local sections.
